NCV/NCS technician
Training: NO TRAINING provided. MUST know how to perform Nerve Conduction Velocity testing to do this job. Please DO NOT apply with no knowledge of this job. Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic evaluations and tests on patients using various medical equipment and technology. - Collect and record patient information, including vital signs and medical history. - Prepare patients for procedures and assist with positioning and comfort. - Operate and maintain medical equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations. - Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Skills: - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations, including CT scans. - Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures.
