AAET Hands on Workshop - Sacramento, CA

Workshop Dates: November 14th and 15th, 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm - 5:00pm

This Hands-on workshop will provide technologists with basic anatomy and physiology as relative to nerve conduction studies along with the skills and techniques that are required to perform routine nerve conduction studies.

Instruction of the following nerve conduction studies will be covered:

Basic Upper Extremity Nerves:

  • Median Motor, Sensory and F-waves
  • Ulnar Motor, Sensory and F-waves
  • Radial Sensory
  • Comparison Studies

Basic Lower Limb Nerves:

  • Peroneal (Fibular) Motor and F-wave
  • Superficial Peroneal Sensory
  • Tibial Motor and F-wave
  • Sural Sensory

Advanced Nerve Conduction Studies (specific studies will be based on attendee needs and time allowance):

  • Lateral Antebrachial Cutaneous
  • Medial Antebrachial Cutaneous
  • Dorsal Ulnar Cutaneous
  • Saphenous Sensory
  • Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Sensory
  • H-Reflexes
  • Facial and Blink Reflex Studies
  • Repetitive Nerve Stimulation

Registration Fees:

Members: $250
Non-members: $350
After November 1st, fees will increase by $50.

Event Cancellation Due to Low Participation

AAET reserves the right to cancel the event if the minimum required number of participants is not met by 10 days prior to the event. The minimum participation threshold for this event is 5 attendees.

In the event of cancellation due to low turnout:

  1. Notification will be sent to all registered participants via email or phone no later than 7 days prior to the event.

  2. Refunds: All registration fees paid will be fully refunded to participants within 14 days of cancellation

  3. Alternative Options: Where possible, participants may be offered the option to transfer their registration to a future event or receive a credit for future use.

AAET is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation expenses, in the event of cancellation.
