Part-Time Nerve Conduction Technoligist
Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina is seeking a part-time Nerve Conduction Technologist to work in our thriving Physiatry clinic. This position is expected to require 20-24 hours per week; Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This clinic operates solely out of our Wakefield and Knightdale offices. Some travel is expected. Potential for full time is a possibility. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing a full range of neurological tests, determining the electrodiagnostic studies to perform based on the requisition, setting up equipment as necessary and performs techniques, monitoring patient‘s conditions and if it is determined assistance may be required, ensuring sufficient and appropriate inventory of EMG-related supplies, and assisting with the scheduling of EMG procedures or follow-ups.
A qualified candidate must work well in an efficient team-oriented environment.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Certification and/or technical training in Electromyography and experience in patient care serviced is preferred.
If interested in full time, medical assisting experience is an additional preferred qualification.
