  1. Upon submitting the application you will be directed to PayPal.com, where you may pay your registration fee of $337.
  2. Each candidate is required to be the patient for another candidate's exam. Please be mindful of this when making your travel arrangements.
  3. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE TIME OF YOUR EXAM.
  4. ONLY COMPLETED APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED.
  5. A block of rooms is being held under the AAET name. Please call and make your own room reservations. You must ask specifically for the AAET room rate.

Requirements for AAET Oral Boards

  • Required Sensory Studies:
    • Sural
    • Median*
    • Ulnar*
    • Radial*
    • Median Palmar-Orthodromic
    • Superficial Peroneal
  • Required Motor Studies:
    • Peroneal — EDB 3 pts of stimulation (ankle, above and below fibular head)
    • Peroneal — TA( above and below fibular head)
    • Tibial — AH (ankle and knee)
    • Median — APB (wrist and elbow)
    • Ulnar — ADM 3 pts of stimulation (wrist, below and above the elbow)
    • H-Reflex
    • F-Wave
  • Required Supplies:
    • Electrodes (if using the disposable you need the alligator clips)
    • Gel
    • Tape
    • Tape Measure
    • Stimulator
    • Calculator
    • Temperature probe
    • Skin prep

*You may do your sensory studies antidromic or orthodromic. Please review and be able to tell your examiner how you measure Your waveforms. You will get deductions if you say the machine does it.
